This site provides information on the ACT admissions test, an alternative to the SAT. Students can access the test calendar and learn how to sign up for the exam.
Cal Grant Information
Students and parents can receive up to date information about the Cal Grant, including eligibility and other requirements. Cal Grants are free money provided to students who qualify and attend a California four year California college/university, community college, or technical/trade school. Students must fill out a GPA verification form.
California Colleges
This site provides direct access the UC, CSU applications, and any other pertinent web sites, such as FAFSA or Cal Grants.

City of Angels School A-G Course List
This site includes a list of all the A-G University of California and California State University approved courses offered at City of Angels School.
College Board
Use this site for general information about PSAT, SAT, and AP exams. The site offers information on test dates and on how to sign up for the tests, as well as provides tips and test reminders. Additionally, there is plenty of information on how to plan for college, pay for college (including a handy Expected Family Contribution calculator), and apply to college.
Common Application
The Common App offers students the opportunity to use one standard form to apply to a number of colleges. Students should check on the web site for a list of the colleges that will accept this application. Additionally, students applying through the Common App must download the supplemental essays for each college to which they are applying.
CSU Application
This site provides access to the California State University admissions application.
Financial Aid
Don't let the high cost of college tuition stop you from going to school! This site offers useful information on different forms of financial aid and where to get monetary assitance for college. The site also provides help with filling out the Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA).
Financial Aid Personal Identification Number (PIN)
Make sure that you and your parent get a PIN in order for you to apply for federal financial aid. This serves as your personal identification number and allows you to access and complete your financial aid application. You do not have to wait until senior year to apply for the PIN. You can do so as early at your sophomore year.
Free Application for Federal Student AID (FAFSA)
This site offers a link to the federal government's Free Application for Federal Student Aid. This application is used by colleges and universities to determine your financial aid eligibility and whether you and your parents must contribute financially to your education. In order to qualify for student aid, public unversities and most private colleges require that you submit this from during your senior year of high school. (When you are in college, you will also need to renew your FAFSA each year.).

Remember to check with the college or university for specific deadlines on when to submit the FAFSA. If you want to qualify for Cal Grants, public unversities in California, including the UCs, CSUs, and community colleges, have a deadline of March 2.

Students who are interested in playing a competitve sport in college should check out this web site that provides information on what you need to do in high school, including the courses you must take, and the admissions tests you need.
